Mskindness B. Ramirez, M.A. Ed.
With both the given name and a calling, Mskindness B. Ramirez has remained committed to her work in education and philanthropy throughout her life. Following an extensive career in large-scale fundraising with reputable agencies such as The American Lung Association, Planned Parenthood, and The AIDS Services Foundation; in 2007 she pursued her graduate degree to continue her career as a High School Math Teacher. During her second pregnancy in 2012, a bad slip and fall left her riddled with chronic pain and unable to continue her career in a traditional classroom. When her academic lens and desire to find a holistic approach to healing, led this bold mom to enter the cannabis space. Armed with a wealth of new knowledge…
Mskindness created Club Kindnessin 2015. A nonprofit membership organization that supports patients, brands, and dispensaries with holistic cannabis education and outreach program development. In 2016, she expanded her mompreneurism; creating Elixirs by Kindness, a boutique line of cannabidiol-infused remedies for the mature consumer. The brand reaches health conscious consumers through a series of in-store and in-home workshops that teach other motivated women how to use CBD and build their own cannabis enterprises.
Now, as a successful CEO and Adjunct Faculty for the LA City Community Colleges, she has expanded her passion for Cannabis education into the development of a series of programs for higher learning; focusing on cannabis business, history, and social equity.
This willful entrepreneur is the host of Sneaking in Silence, a podcast about conscious Cannabis consumption, the author of an upcoming children’s book, Our Very Special Garden, written to spark the canna-conversation between parents and their children, and the Co-Founder of Cannabis Business Development Seminars (CBDS).
Mskindness has always focused on social justice as the core element of both her personal and business practices. She is currently in the running for a 2020 City Council position in Pomona, California; with a campaign focused on Equitable Cannabis regulation and Community Reinvestment. She is a multi-passionate businesswoman to say the least, who remains gracefully balanced through her mindfulness training and daily meditation practice.
“God’s plant has put me on this wonderful journey, and I am committed to seeing it through. For me it’s simple… Gratitude wins!” ~Mskindness B. Ramirez, MA.Ed
